He has a ton of buttons that can beat your stuff though. You don't really have any options that outright beat his stuff. Avdol will pretty much dominate you on every front, and requires insane neutral to come out with the win.Īvdol in neutral is a god against you. He can also abuse his extremely good i-frames to essentially cover himself with full invincibility as you can't do anything about it. Unlike the other S-tiers, Avdol gets his damage in small chunks by hitting simple moves like 662B/C or s.ON chains like s.5A > s.5A > s.5B > s.5C, and the occasional super like 236AA or 623AA.
His buttons are insane, and in contention for the best set of normals in the game, and will have no trouble stopping you at all.
Avdol is a very tough matchup, much like the other S-tiers.
